Had both traps set and caught 5 in the Belmont trap (none of yours Bobby). Nothing in the Seguin trap and both the feeder and trap corn was still there. Thursday night I sat for a while and heard 5 shots from maybe a half-mile west of me along the same creek. I suspect that either eliminated some of the regulars or just chased them off. But, they'll be back for sure.

I am not much of a trapper but if I could get some to go in mine I would set it. Randomly showing up at 2 AM or so. I have sit a couple of time with no takers. I think it/they are coming in after the green light goes off! It is getting dry here, maybe that will get them to change their habits! Ha Ha

There's been no hog activity here. But the creeks are drying up, and there are lots of grapes on the ground right now, so I am hoping that motivates some of the porkers to make a trek through here and maybe stay a while.

2 nights at my local spot and the trap and nearby feeder are undisturbed--of course, by the end of next week I'll have a swarm.
