I was doing a little "scouting" in a new area recently and assembled a cheap gravity feeder using corrugated sewer pipe. When I went to pick up my trail camera and gravity feeder, I was disappointed to find that someone had apparently found our spot and had vandalized the feeder (Again. We had a nice digital feeder stolen over the summer). The tube was broken in half, there were multiple knife cuts in it, all of the duct tape had been stripped off of the elbow joint and cut into tiny squares, and the metal straps were barely hanging on. It looks like someone really went at it with a pocket knife. A three foot section of the tube was completely cut off the feeder and thrown into the brush about 10 feet away. Regrettably, I dismantled the remains of the feeder and removed the trail camera. I must admit that I was very surprised to see who the vandal actually was after downloading the pictures at home. Have a look at the video below and see for yourself. Unbelievable! Haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDum4GZqURQ P.S. This video is a compilation of all 300+ pictures from about a 30 day period. I made it in about 4 simple steps using the "time elapse" video creation with Picasa photo software (free from Google).

I think it's time for that black and white hog to make its way into your freezer! "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Semper Fidelis "Building Carpal Tunnel one round at a time"

Haha! Agreed. I feel a little stupid now that I realized what ACTUALLY happened. Haha! I guess I underestimated them.

Maybe you can ask him about your digital feeder when you get him. John

He'll make a nice hat brush and a pan of bacon -- next time you see him! Cheers Tinker _________________________________ Self appointed Colonel, DRSS
