shot this hog and some others just before dark about 6:20 ,went back the next morning around 11:am and found her still alive! she jumped up and ran at me so I shot her in the left eye,she rolled and came at me again.so I shot her in the ear she came no more!!!
I had hit her right behind the shoulder the first time .I dressed her to see why the bullet didn't do the job.it had taken out one whole lung and part of the other one.but just didn't want to die!

Sounds like you need more gun! Nice hog though.

I've been shooting a 7 mag some.haven't really killed a big one with it yet .2 hit good ran but died quickly the 3rd I head shot ,it didn't run!
my .243 just feels like a part of me,so that's usually what I shoot!
