I'm talking wild hogs, not preserve hunting. Are there any known huntable populations in the Mid-South especially West Tennessee or North Mississippi? I know middle TN, east TN and lower down in MS have hogs. In north MS the most northern region of Holly Springs Nat'l Forest near the TN state line maybe has some. But that's a guess based on TWRA web-site info that hogs apparently have appeared in southern McNairy County TN and the nearby national forest would seem the logical source. If so, they might be spreading northward into W. TN...and might reach the areas I hunt..maybe even in my hunting lifetime. I know this is just a stab in the dark, but perhaps there is someone here knowledgeable about these areas. Also, when they eventually get here, what impact on our very large deer and turkey populations? I have no idea what they do to whitetails and turkey if anything. Do they just co-exist? | ||
