Bob in TXCentral Texas Hog Hunt
A few of us headed to a ranch NW of Austin, Texas over the weekend to put some pork in the freezer. Our 5 hunters put down 11 hogs ranging from pit size 30 pounders to 200+ lbs.
All three of my hogs were behind the ear DRT's with my Posse .223 AR-15. I was shooting the Sierra #1395 65 gr. SBT's.
We had a lot of fun.....

....Texas brisket, Texas beans, potato salad, and jalapeno, cream cheese, and bacon poppers.
Grilled venison sausage.

No kidding! I was up in Mingus a few weeks ago too. It was downright spooky to see the color "green" and tanks with water in them!
