Have taken pigs with the 22/250 using 60gr hornadys, they flatten them alright, as long as you place your shot well. I would not use the ballistic tip, as they are purely a vermin bullet, have had them blow up on roo's heads, not real sporting. The 50gr in my experience is a tad to light, sure you might take a few, but why risk wounding a game animal. My thoughts.
