120 yards.
23"/1:8 MGM barrel in .223
Barnes 55 grain TTSX at 3294 fps MV.

Hog was slightly quartering to me. Bullet entered on front side of shoulder, took off the top of the heart, heavily damaged one lung and a portion of the other before exiting approximately 4 inches behind the shoulder. Despite no CNS impact, the hog folded on the spot. The exit through the ribcage was nearly the size of a nickel.

Good shooting! Now that I have my feeders on "deer hunting time", none of the 4 million pigs in Texas are on my wife's place! Most of the 7 million whitetail are! Ha Ha

Good shot Bobby.

As small as a .223 is, they are potent when hitting in the right spot.

They sure bust coyotes well too.

Don't matter to you since you don't save the hides. I found 40gr V'max don't exit, or splash.

Thanks for sharing. Now you need a few litter mates.
