My regular haunt is Hog Heaven Outfitters of Johnston County, NC. I hunted there at least eight times last year and am planning on heading down there in the next month or so (waiting for it to warm up a bit!). Their web address is: www.hogheavenoutfitters.com and their number is (252) 560-5082.

It's a free ranging hunt.

Whitworth,

Do you know the name of a town they are near? What county they are in is not something I can look up on my mapping software. Their web site doesn't mention a town, either.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, they are in Johnston County, about 100 miles south of the border with Virginia off of I95.

I've come up empty on a few hunts there, but the odds are pretty good. We usually hunt at night, particularly when it gets warm and the go nocturnal. Took a big tusky boar there a couple of months ago,

Semper Fi, Brian!
