Big Wonderful WyomingI get what you think it is for, but I imagine it would be easily stuck in a pig, and hard to remove.
That and the hilt doesn't offer much protection from your hand over running the hilt and ending up on the blade.
I had a Muella pig sticker do that to me once. Wasn't much of a knife and left me cut up pretty bad.
Neat idea, but I think I'd like to manhandle one before I would risk using it on those of porcine build.

SAFARIKIDYour right on track...But...I m machining a Thick Brass washer that slides over the handle firmly and will prevent that from happening ..I could have made a bigger guard but this way is better...I will be constantly improving but any suggestions are always welcome!

AtkinsonDamn, only on the internet does one need a high dollar custom knife to gut a hog, I use a case pocket knife to gut my hogs, but hey I drink Lone Star beer with my bar b qued hog, as would any native son of the Lone Star state.

Need's got nuthin' to do with it. I'm a user/collector and use em' cause I can.
As to Lone Star beer..........
works with fowl as well as pork
works with fish too!!!
