95% of all my hunts are hogs. For all these hunts (high seat and drive hunts) I have a Mauser 98 custom made with a short 20" barell
and an ZEISS Variopoint 1,5-6x42 in 9,3x62. Mostly I use Norma Vulkan 232 grains. This bullet makes a good job, not too much meat damage.
Following wounded hogs I use open sights from Holland and Holland (it takes a time to find them) to be preprared for an attack.
