Was going thru files and came across these pictures taken on our lease in La Salle County--between Los Angeles and Fowlerton. It was times like this that earned me my nickname--The Pig Murderin' Fool. I still knock down a goodly number of pigs these days but all my targets these days are nocturnal.

One night all three of us were in stands and did a "census"--60 pigs in sight at 3 different locations on 520ac--so yes we had a bunch.

I love it when hogs come out in daylight, but those devils have been almost completely nocturnal here for a long while. Then, too, we don't have near the population density as we once did as they are getting lots of pressure from all sides.
