Had 7 in one trap and 2 in the other one. Two little piglets (about 20-lbs) squirmed out of the pen trap and I emptied my M1911 .22 LR pistol at them and they just kept running. Now I have to take 3 different guns to run the traps--a rifle to shoot the big ones from a ways off so they don't climb out of the trap, a .22 to kill the ones in the trap, and a shotgun for the running hoglets.

Also shot a big sow w/bow 2 nights ago--thru & thru, arrow in the dirt right there, coated from head to nock, but the weeds 'n grass are mid-thigh to head high and no way to blood trail in that stuff-plus the thistles are nasty on exposed skin.

Looks like some pretty good eating there. Not much stink to those I bet.

That's a good load and even better when you didn't have to clean 'em. OR did you?

Nice going. A couple of those are really giving me the eye, good thing you took 'em out.

I clean 'em to the extent I gut and behead them--then depending on who they are going to, they might get a bath. With pigs that size, doesn't take long-
