Back at the feeder where I shot a boar last week--in the stand at 7:15 and settled in. Wind in my face, cool evening. Expecting another of the large boars to show up early as they have been--but by halftime of the Spurs' game nothing had come in. Then about 10:15 a juvenile gang of about 20 porkers storms into the feeder pen. Talk about tough picking out a target! So, I draw, anchor, aim, release and miss! Low shot. Pigs don't leave, and I nock another arrow, draw, anchor, aim, release, and miss again! WTH? Pigs stay around and I get another arrow nocked--this time I didn't miss. Pigs scatter but I hear the pig thrashing around in the leaves and brush next to the feeder pen. Pigs come back--nock another arrow--Oops--it's a Judo point--so I swap it out for the last BH tipped arrow in the quiver and nail another one. This one wobbles and staggers around under the feeder and finally makes its way out of the pen thru the brush and leaves--can hear it walking. Then quiet. Still got pigs but no more arrows--but they slowly leave the area. I wait 10 minutes and lower the bow and start down. When I turn and face the tree to start down the ladder--see a dark blob about 10 yds away in the clearing--put the light on it and it's a pig--not dead but definitely sick. Sneak on down, walk to the truck and listen to the Spurs for 10-15 minutes, then drive to the feeder.

2 arrows under the feeder and the Lumenok first shot is about 20 yds away. One of the arrows is bloodied good and there is blood under the feeder. Walk around the feed pen to the brush and there is the first one--DRT. Didn't make it 15'. Found another bloody arrow about 5' away. Circled the brush and walked to the pig I saw from the stand--he's DRT also.

So, two PPP--perfect pit piggies!

Here's the first arrivers-

Here's the start under the feeder-

Need to update y'all on my goings-on since I shot these two. Winds switched around to N to ESE sector and that is most favorable for my two stands. Game cam showed that the target species was habitually showing up at 9 PM or soon thereafter, so I grabbed my bow and some arrows and went for a sit. Here's the result of the first sit:
