Nice little boar taken from my daughter's stand. I chose that particular stand to see if any ducks were using a pond located nearby. No ducks, just a pig.

Oh, the Swiss supplied the rifle. Neat, straight-pull action, took the hog at nearly 300 yds.

Thanks Bob and Marco. Bob that was my thoughts as well when I walked up to him. Some look more wild than others, this was a Russian looking beast, killed before he reached his prime.

Good, a dead pig is a good pig.

I need to go to Argentina before I'm too old, you on the other hand are a mere child in comparison.

Those would be awesome conversions for sure, but the 7.5 Swiss is a pretty neat round. Sort of like a .284 winchester necked up to .30 cal.

Nice. Were you shooting the GP11 ammo, some of the Norma hunting rounds, reloads or something else? Thanks

Thanks Bobby for your remarks, but I was thinking that this hog was pretty unlucky for me to have made that shot, that dropped it in it's tracks at that range.
