| Perry, I have two rimfire rifles with the inexpensive Weaver rimfire scopes on them. I am VERY happy with them, especially the 2-7x scope on an old Rem 510 I bought from Dago Red here on AR a few years ago. It's clear, and easy to use, and runs about $120 from Natchez. Don

| I like the Nikon ProStaff 2-7x32 shotgun scope and the Weaver RV7 2-7x28 rimfire scope. The Nikons seem a little brighter to me, but the Weavers are a good value for the $$.

| Pick up an older Weaver K series and adjust the parallax to whatever .22 rf range you desire by loosing the turrant screw and moving the turrent back and forth on the body.
I've used this trick on a number of scopes that I put on .22s. The old K series scopes aren;t that good of high power scope but they do make nice .22 scopes. |

| A possible option for you might be BSA's sweet .22 scope. I don't know about the quality, but it should be cheap enough.

| The Cabela's rimfire scopes are very nice for the price Cabela's Pine Ridge Rimfire scopes , but optically the Nikon Prostaff is much nicer glass. The Cabela's does have the advantage of being available with a fine cross hair reticle, which is why I bought it. I found the plex reticle of my Prostaff to obscure too much target. LWD |

| Take some time out and look at the Simmons Pro Air scope. I have one mounted on my Ruger 10/22 with a Grn. Mtn. barrel and for a low end scope I was very surprised how it performs. I have tried 18 different brands of 22 RF loads and recorded all of the settings for each one at various yardage and when I return to a certain brand, the scope puts me very, very close to it's last POI.I think that you will also find that the price is right as well. Good luck with your search.
Don't worry, I got your back

| Pentax Gameseeker is a lot of scope for the money - I have a 4-12 x40 on my CZ 17Hmr and it works great. Cameralandny had that and a pair of binos for around $130 not too long ago. |
