Guys, Anyone know for sure what the graduations of each hash mark is on the older Leupold M8 2.5x, 4x and 6x scopes? Unsure whether they are 0.25MOA or 0.5MOA? Thanks... Con

I love the old M8's and Vari-X's, but the graduations on the adjusment scales will always remain a matter of mystery. Sometimes, it appears that the same scale was used with different scopes which had entirely different movement per rotation. At any rate, when adjusting an older Leupold, I always assume that the graduations are 1/2 MOA and thus make smaller adjustments. This is something you'll just have to prove by actually shooting (or using a scope collimator might tell the tale.) However, once you determine how much each graduation moves the POA, the adjustments will be very consistent.

Shame they didn't mark each dial with adjustment info! Surely that wouldn't have cost more than a few cents per scope.
