I have the Zeiss Conquest and really like it...German parts Assembled in the U.S.
Considering buying the Zeiss Terra 3X; supposedly the Conquest replacement made and assembled in Japan. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on the Terra 3X?

No. They still make the Conquest. Is is now the "Conquest HD5" I believe. The Terra is their lower line of scopes.
I have several Conquest scopes and love them, but if I was looking for something in the Terra price range, I'd go for a Leupold instead.

And Cameraland usually has the best prices on Zeiss, and always great service.

There seems to be very little out there on the Terra. I bought one a while ago amd hope to be able to give feedback soon. I couldn't get a VX3 in a similar power range at the price. It is optically at least in that range and possibly better. I will check on a resolution chart sometime. I think they will be pretty good and will let you know. I miss the small eyepiece or occular bell of Leupold on most all of the Euro scopes. It is crappy to be forced to mount a small objective scope high because the bolt handle won't clear. I won't do it and then mess around with something else. I will give feedback on the Terra once tested.
