I have a vintage side mount. Not much room between the rings. Are there any "good" long tube scopes.

May wind up with a vintage Weaver.

Look into Lymans also.

Recently there were a 4x and a 6x offered for sale in the classified section.

Early Leupold 4 powers (4x28mm) have quite a fair area to work with on scope mounting. There's about 7" between the front bell expansion and rear eyepiece threads. Later Leupold 4s lost quite a bit in this length. These also look nice on vintage rifles and even though old they're really quite good optically...
