Can the reticle on my 4200 be switched out to a range finder type reticle? I have a 4200 which I will mount on my new 6/284 rifle and want some type of reticle to eliminate hold over at distances up to 500 yds.

No I have not had them change out a reticle, but I read that they would change reticles in the Elite Series of scopes... Perhaps what I read is wrong, but maybe not. I have no first hand knowledge tho....

We get reticles changed out all the time. They are not the speediest, but no problems.

You need to asked yourself is that at what magnifications would like to use your scope at since the Elite series are second focal planed.
