What is the real world prcie range for a 3-12x56 Kahles with Burris Signature rings? The scope is in good conddition and is just back from a trip to Austria/Germany to be checked out. It was bought in 1998.

Being a '98 model, this is a scope that gives you a serious looking through a tunnel effect. What i mean is that the lower the power setting, the more pronounced the effect of the sight picture being in the middle of a large, black circle. Hard to describe in words, but if you have used a scope like this you know what i am talking about

Is this a Helia S or Helia L model. One is a steel tube, the other aluminum.

What you are describing sounds like the eye relief is not constant.

It is an aluminum tube

Tey all had that tunnel effect back then. A lot of my friends had them as well. You could move your head if you wanted, but at low power it always looked like a tunnel
