Lou, the Leupold Custom Shop will do colors or refurbs on their scopes. I'd give them a call first.

| Agree, go to Leupold. If someone else works on the scope, and it breaks, the warranty is VOID.

Frank: I was told there is a company that refinishes Leupold scopes without jeopardizing the warranty. I sent an inquiry to Leupold and will post their reply.

I just talked to Leupold customer service and they recommended Altitude Gunworks. The Leupold warranty is invalid if a baked on application is used.

I can't locate Altitude other than a web site that says "business for sale". I guess I'll just wrap it with bow tape.
