Back in May I was clumsy enough to knock my Vortex Sandpiper spotting scope of the bench, resulting in the eyepiece mounting breaking & a dent in the objective sunshade.
I thought that was it until I saw reference to Vortex having a comprehensive lifetime warranty that included everything except loss & theft. I downloaded the form & whilst over in the US (saved me $$$$ in shipping...) sent the scope back to them.
The form said a 10 working day turnaround from receiving the item but I received a REPLACEMENT scope five working days later.
Well done & thank you Vortex.

My Zeiss issue was less of a problem but dealt with in an equally timely manner: I mounted a new Zeiss scope & having zeroed it arrived back where I stay in NM to find I had mislaid the cap covering the windage adjustment. I emailed Zeiss asking where I could buy one & received an email back saying a cap was in the mail for no charge. it duly arrived two days later.
Well done & thank you to Zeiss too.

Now all I have to do is stop losing/breaking things.... Smiler
