I have a 4.5x14x44 RapidZ 800 on a rifle and have installed 3 other RapidZ 800's and 2 RapidZ 600's on friends' rifles. All went on smooth as silk and all have a superb view. As far as how the reticle works, it is only as accurate as your load is. In other words, if your velocity is going up or down 50 fps then the impact points at long distance will vary accordingly. You put your data in the Zeiss website calculator and it tells you what power to put it on. In my experience, that calculator is fairly accurate but you need to shoot at the longer ranges to check it out. For instance if your 200 yard zero is 1/2" off because any one of a number of reasons then the power range the calculator tells you to use will be off. I think the reticle is accurate as long as all the variables are correct and in place: velocity, ballistic coefficient, yardage zeroed at. I love 'em. I have a Kahles TDS, 2 Kahles MultiZero's, a Burris Ballistic Mil Dot and the RapidZ 800. The RapidZ 800 is my favorite. ____________________________________ There are those who would misteach us that to stick in a rut is consistency - and a virtue, and that to climb out of the rut is inconsistency - and a vice. - Mark Twain | Chinese Proverb: When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others. ___________________________________ | |||
