I have a Sako model 75 rebarrelled to 9.3x62. I have Sako Optilock mounts with a Nightforce 1x4 scope. I set this up as my black bear gun. I took it out of the safe to wipe it down and looked through the scope and it seemed very hazy. Lo and behold the front lens was badly cracked. Nightforce has been very good about returning it for repair but I am surprised the lens could be broken by pressure from Optilocks. Anyone using one of these scopes should consider a mount system such as a Picatinny rail to get the front ring as far behind the front lens as possible. I am very surprised since I always felt these scopes were indestructible. NF customer Service acknowledged this has been a problem with this scope.
