I need to remount my Zeiss 30mm on a Win Mod 70, .375H&H. New mounts should take into consideration the above average recoil of my girl. At present there's 2-Pc Leupold (or) Millet bases (dovetail front and opposed windage screws in rear) and EAW 30mm rings on her which have worked well for several years and several hundred rounds. I really only want to replace the rings (I believe they've been lapped poorly). Keeping in mind I am not interested in a QR or QD mounting system (I had the open sights removed from the rifle), what rings do you all think best? I'm happy keeping these bases and getting new rings or discarding the whole thing and getting bases and rings new -- any brand that fits.
