Has anyone used a scope bag like this one from Larue

http://www.larue.com/scope-bags?sort=popular

Any other brands I should also look at ?

I am think of something to transport primary and spare scope. They will be on a blaser saddle mounts.

Do they offer any real protection?

Thanks

Mike

The bags kinda assume you are going to be taking the scope off and putting it on with some regularity - I prefer the American outlook.

Maybe simpler question is what do people transport their spare scope in ?

Mossberg crowd might say an old sock.

For shooters with higher end optics - what is the best way to cart a spare scope.

Thanks

These containers look a bit bulky to fit in a gun case with the rifle. I've cut some foam out of my old case, to fit my spare scope (steel), which I wrap in thin, closed-cell foam, inside a synthetic 'canvas' bag with draw cord.

I carry my spare in one of my jock straps. Even large, very large scopes leaves plenty of room for packing material.

Does this suppose some relationship between the size of the scope and the jock strap? Smiler

Blaser does not discriminate against female hunters.

A great platform for men and women Big Grin

Right handed and left handed shooters.

What a great gun - but the mosberg crowd is stuck in its old ways dancing

Finlly ordered them from Larue

Expensive at $60 a bag.

But worth it to transport $1000-$2000 plus scopes.
