I just received my first shipment of the new Minox ASPH binoculars. WOW
The 8.5x42 and 7x42 are outta this world, even when compared to Leicas, Swaros and the Zeiss (It makes it easy since I have them all here in the store to do a side by side)

If you are looking for a great quality bino and do not want to spend an excess of $1000.00 or even close to $1000.00 then these new ASPH binos are the ticket.
We got in the:
#62128 BD 7x42 BR ASPH
#62124 BD 8.5x42 BR ASPH
#62123 BD 10x42 BR ASPH
#62133 BD 8.5x52 BR ASPH (Man is this bright)
I cannot post pricing due to MAP policies but please feel free to call, e-mail or PM me for your special pricing

There is also a HG version arriving in May. They will be about 30% more money and a bit higher quality. I saw them at the ShotShow however, I was not able to compare them side by side at the show for obvious reasons.
Today I took these ASPH binocs and played with them along side the Leica's, Swarovski's, Zeiss's and the Pentax DCF SP's (I really started with the Pentax DCF SP's because these compare price wise to those).
Man, these Minox's are great.

Have a great day,
Doug

I agree.
I bought the 8.5x42 and IMO, are better than anything in there price class.
I also compared them side by side to my friends Leica's and they were definetly not $8-900 better.

I compaired a pair of 10x42's today to a pair of Leicas. They are nice

I would be interested in a pair of 8x42 or 10x42.

Have you compared them with the Bushnell Elite binoculars? How do they fare?

Sorry, haven't been home in awhile.
I did buy them from Doug, and I would not hesitate to buy from him again, or to recommend him as well.
I will be buying my ML scope from him soon.
