I want to pu the smallest optical red dot sight I can on a CZ550 in 458 Lott. Who has experience with this sight and would you prefer it over the Trijicon new mini sight. Thanks, York, SC

I currently have a Docter Optic sight on my crossbow and like it alright, but I have an Aimpoint H-1 micro on my combo gun and like it much better.

Nothing wrong with any of the Aimpoint products, however I am a fan of the Doctor Optic. I do not get that "looking through a tube" feeling when using a DO. Or an Eo Tech. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

The Trijicon RMR Dual Illumination at 2 ounces is hard to beat. No batteries and Military Quality. If you can see red (not color blind) get the 3.5 MOA red dot. Otherwise use the smallest 7 MOA Orange Dot. Other RMR models use batteries and are very effective. The small Doctor Optik is also very good. Stay away from tube type red dot sights and get something you can shoot with both eyes open. Just MHO, Good Shooting Tetonka DRSS DRSS

I would go with Jeff´s idea of the Aimpoint Micro if it should be a red dot, OR maybe try this here - much cheaper and worth testing: http://titanium-gunworks.com/l...ht-daynightfire.html or wathc the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...ture=player_embedded Klaus

One thing I forgot to mention is that, unless you buy a DO directly from Docter Optics here in the US, they WILL NOT honor the warranty. On my first DO, I dropped my gun and cracked the screen, and they basically told me that I was SOL. Fortunately, the crack isn't bad enough that I can't still use it. Don't get me wrong when I recommended the Aimpoint, because I like my DO too and enough so that I just bought a second DO last week.
