I have been converting to illuminated reticles but did not realize "battery operated sighting devices" are not permitted in some states. Does anyone know which states forbid their use? How about Canada also?

I have wondered which of the states also. I think they are all out west but don't bet the bank on that.

Some states allow illuminated reticles and red dots, but do not allow any sight that projects a beam to the animal, ie a laser sight,and laser grips.
