I wanted this mount for a DG rifle and Leupold said they were not in production being reengineered as these were not holding up.

I've been trying to buy these mounts for quite a while; maybe 2 years. I thought they would be great for my Win 70, 416 Rem mag. No gunshop I ever came across stocks them or even heard of them, for that matter.
Plus, the catalog only listed them in gloss blue finish. Not a good match for a stainless steel receiver.

I hope Leupold works out the bugs and re-introduces them once again.

Thanks guys. I thought they would've been "pushed" by Leupold more.

If you order from them you will get an email the next day saying sorry out of stock. These are not in production anymore.

I do believe this is Leupold's poor attempt to engineer their own version of George Honeig's mount. It doesn't look like they did a very good job of using his design.
