I am thinking about a Leupold for a new gun and wondered how the new VX6 stacks up against the VX7? I hated the LPS when it was around but the one VX7 I have is very much better. I don't know whether I should try to find a VX7 or just go with a VX6. Recommendations for European scopes need not apply. I want a Leupold!

The vx-7 is bigger, heavier, variable eye relief, less FOV, no fire dot illumination.

I would buy the vx-6 all day long
