lyman wolverine question

wrhere is the power marked on a lyman wolverine, says all weather, see patent etc, last part of wolverine is under scope ring, also was ultra fine crosshair with dot is this a standard lyman reticule or maybe a lee tack hole?

I don't know the answer and Nick Stroebel's book is not much help. The only outward difference in the powers I can see is that the 6x is 13.75 inches long while the 8x and 10x are 14.125 and 14.5 respectively (focus could add complications, of course).

Stroebel does not mention reticles available but the Challenger and their target scopes of about that time were available with a Lee dot at extra cost.

In case you want to remount it, I believe the Woverines all had 26mm tubes.

On both of mine it's marked on focus locking ring.All were 26mm tubes.
