Picked up a Stagg 6.8 carbine for daughter, caribou season is couple weeks away and she's been shooting the AR's all summer; prefers over old 270. So been looking at Leupolds but don't have time for custom shop. I saw an Acog TA31H-68 4X32 with red reticle in horseshoe configuration; set up for 6.8 spc. Going to order in 2 days; a little over $1000. ACOG® - 4x Models Model #: TA31H-68 photo/graphic photo/graphic So what are the draw backs or negatives on this set up. How far off should I expect the BDC feature to be? Will I get 10 years before sending back to factory? We have a few 223 Ar's and now plan on getting a couple variants, maybe 338 fed and a 308. So will put traditional scopes on those, kinda always wanted an Acog anyway. I like that horseshoe ring around the dot. Too bad it's not green though. We will be using for hunting off snowmachine, road hunting, and with collapsible stock & short barrel fits the girl fine. Opinions? | ||
