the general consensus here in canada is that they are very overpriced chinese junk. basicly imported by a guy who may or may not do a little assembly work in his garage so he can say "made in canada"

I don't think they say "Made in Canada" anywhere, perhaps designed in Canada. Stay far away, I've heard nothing but bad things about them. Chinese crap.

Check this out. http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=21648 If this is their sales strategy, I wouldn't touch em with a 10 foot pole. Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. John E Pfeiffer, The Emergence of Man Those who can't skin, can hold a leg. Abraham Lincoln Only one war at a time. Abe Again.

Here's a direct quote from king optics website "" Our riflescopes are designed, engineered, handcrafted and assembled here in Canada. Using the finest material and highest quality glass lenses, our highly skilled craftsman take great pride in their work to provide the quality, performance and reliability you demand for your money."" Blah, blah,Blah as I said the general consensus is that they are best avoided. Shady marketing and shoddy chinese manufacturing seem to be their main claims to fame. If you can get a leupold or conquest for the same or less money why would anyone even have to think about it?
