I have a new Win. model 70 and I am wondering if low Warne Maxima Scope Rings will work with a Leupold VxII 3 x 9 x 40 Scope. I have mounted it with med rings and it seems to high. Concerned about bolt clearance.

measure the difference between the objective lens and the barrel and then look up the height difference between the rings & You'll have your answer
