Had a sales rep at the shop last week with some of the Steiner stuff and one of his samples was a set of 8x44 PEREGRINES. It doesn't get any better that that! At least for me!! have used the Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss high end stuff and they are impressive but these Steiners fit in the category with them.........as price would make you think!! I took them to the varmint fields and compared them with Pentax DCF-HR's in 12x42 and the clarity and sharpness of the Steiners even though less powerful was just tremendous! if you all get a chance to try some out, have at it!!
