How does one adjust the paralax knob on Zeiss conquest scope? the knob is marked "30" then several dots then "infinity". How do I know how to adjust it for say a 250 yds shot? any help will be appreciated. thanks, Paul

Numbers do not help. You need to adjust until the parallax is gone. Here is a link to an thread that might help. What Is Parallax And How To Adjust For It? http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/what-is-parallax-2.php

put conquest at max mag. Find 250 yard object. Adjust knob until object clear in scope. Mark knob with felt tip pin. I normally set mine up at 150, and leave it there, since most of my shots are between 100 and 200 yd at lower mag ~6. You don't notice that when hunting.
