I am looking for bases or Ringmounts (optilok) for direct attachment to the SAKO TRG-22 receiver. When using the Sako rail for picatinny mounts, it is way to high for any kind of cheek weld..... bases that would mount directly to the receiver without the rail would lower the scope by a lot.

A Warne 20 moa cross slot (~$100) with Leupold low QRW rings (~$55) will give a good cheekweld and 1000+ yard capability. It will just clear a 50mm objective. (but not a 56mm!)
I went this route with my TRG's rather than the very high, over priced 3 ring mount. I sold my 3 ring quick detach after accidentally flipping the lever with my shooting glove during a match. Nothing ruins a string of 10s and Xs like a scope falling off! (it did however return to zero with only one or two points lost due to user error)
