I have 5 rifles with no scopes installed that I picked up over the last 2 years when I found good deals, and over the last few months have picked up 5 different scopes whenever I found good deals on them and finances permitted. Just looking for some opinions on what scope should go with each rifle. Each of these rifles will be used to a maximum of 250 yards on deer, varmints and paper.

Based strictly on cartridge and platform:

Sako a 7 300 wsm = 3x9x40 Nikon prostaff
Savage 16 300 savage = 3x9x40 Nikon Buckmasters
Savage 14 250 savage = 3x9x40 Bushnell trophy xlt
Browning x bolt 308 = 2x7x33 Nikon prostaff
post 64 model 70 30-06 = fixed 6x36 Leupold

The 6x leupold needs to be on the m70. The nicest scope for the nicest gun.

The rest can be mix and matched however.
