Hi, I got an aimpoint 3000 on a freedom arms 454 i just purchased. I saw that this sight is no longer available. Does it have a lifetime warranty? How does aimpoint handle a problem with something that has been discontinued? Any other info on the optic itself, such as performance and durability would be appreciated.

Aimpoint does not offer lifetime warranties on their older products. You would have to pay for any repairs needed (check their web site for more information).

Their scopes are pretty durable, but the FA .454 will test it severely.
