To be exact, it found me. January of 2008 I spoke with the head of Unertl's Repair Shop about wanting an older 1 1/2" objective lens 20X Super Programmer at the SHOT Show. Left a business card, and the gentleman called this morning. He had thumbtacked it on his corkboard. He retired, but has a thriving business cleaning and repairing them. Six years! What are the odds? Good luck with it - a worthy project. I notice things like this popping up on eBay from time to time. I stumbled on an old article (June 2012?) in Guns Magazine yesterday where Jacob Gottfredson said modern image-moving scopes were so unreliable that many target shooters disable the internal movements and make their own adjustable mounts. | |||
