I am thinking of getting a couple of Burris MTAC for my AR rifles.

Anyone use one and have any views?

I liked the scope - I saw at 1x4 but I am leaning towards a 1.5x6. Most likely do on my Larue 7.62 and 5.56 guns.

Thanks,

Mike

I had an 1-4 MTAC on a Stagg 3G. I found the MTAC reticle was too course for my taste at 100 yds or more. I will say the glass was very good on the MTAC.

When I sold the rifle and replaced the scope I purchased the Nikon M223 30 mm 1-6, which was a bit pricey. The glass on the Nikon is the typical Monarch quality.

Vortex has a new 30 mm power AR scope called Strike Eagle. It's reticle seems better than the MTAC design. I would take look at that one as it costs less than the Nikon and may have better glass given Vortex's record for high value products.
