Was wondering if anyone here have seen/used a unit like in the image below, and how they compared to other 8x20 top end German Binos.
They are unusual in the sense that they are based on the same-similar housing as the 8x30&10x40 classics with large focus wheel, and i presume they are also T* coated.
Just for the technical record,Ive tried/had Zeiss 8x30bgaT* and 10x40bgaT* and Leica 8x20&10x25 compacts(not new Ultravids).

Aren't these the regular, old-style 8x30s??

If yes, then that was great little binocular. Top of the line for a semi-compact glass in its time.

mho,
they look very similar to the 8x30classic(same type body and focus wheel) but are actually 8x20. Ive only ever seen two such in my life, rather rare compared to the much more common 8x30.
