30mm scope rings

Well wouldn't you know it. I cannot find the torque specs for the set of 30 mm scope rings I have on my M14. They are a beast of a set of rings with 6 screws for each mount(front and back) So there are 12 screws for this ring set but I'll be danged if I can find the torque specs for these ones. Is there a ball part torque spec for 30mm rings or should I keep looking for the instructions so as to get the proper torque settings? I cannot remember the maker of the rings either which is really making this tough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't mention any brand for the rings and I suspect different makers might have different screws and different ideas about how tight to make them. With so many screws, I would take them to just reasonable tightness, holding an ordinary screwdriver with the tips of your fingers.
