I just picked up a near mint Bushnell Scopechief VI fixed 4x scope, made in Japan. Very sharp to the edge. Excellent resolution. Bright image. Nice bold plex reticle. Click adjustments.

$36. Can't beat that deal with a stick.

FWIW, if you come across one, don't pass on it too quickly. You may be pleasantly surprised with the optics.

Those Scopechiefs were excellent scopes, probably as good as any Bushnell ever sold.
I have one also, and won't be selling it any time soon.

Nice scope. I am wondering where you get your information on the warrenty though. I have a Scopechief IV 1.5-4.5 that went bad. Sent it in and they offered to let me have a scope they deemed of comparable quality (a sportsman model) for $59.00. I had them send the scope back, and I keep it as a reminder not to buy Bushnell. Sorriest customer service I have ever come across.

I will second the fact that Bushnell won't give you much for the scope. Doesn't matter if it's a B&L version or Bushnell. I've found them to be the least useful for warranty issues.
