Considering this for an Elephant hunt. Any experience with it or comments? Burris makes adapter mounts for my Ruger RSM .458Lott designed for the FastFire. Mike ______________ DSC DRSS (again) SCI Life NRA Life Sables Life Mzuri IPHA "To be a Marine is enough."

I've not used it on game but my Fastfire II has seen lots of range time on a 450/400 Ruger 1 and now on my Sabatti double in the same caliber. I've found it to be very accurate. More so than an Eotech that I owned for a short period. I would not hesitate to hunt with it... I got the idea from Rusty who has one on his vintage double 450/400. He had a mount built to fit his rifle. Cliff NRA Life Member CMP Distinguished Rifleman NRA Master, Short and Long Range

My old eyes are not doing well with iron sights any more. I made a mounting plate for the FastFire II that fits into the rear sight dovetail of my .470 NE Searcy. Works fine! I like it. The nephew and I have used one on a Blaser BBF in 308/20ga and it has worked perfectly. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

probably works great but putting one on a beautiful classic double to me is about like putting 20 inch rims with spinners on an old hemi cuda.
