I finally made a decision and ordered the IOR 3x18x42 from Scott.....After talking with several owners and from all the advice here on AR, and information from SCott Berish I felt like I wanted to at least try one of these scopes..........I'm optimistic about it and look forward to trying it out.....It should be here this week.........

I saw the 3-18x last weekend, its a very fine scope , and i saw the 1.5-8x26, both of them has 35mm tubes.

Ill be getting the 1.5-8x later this year.

They are both sturdy, rugged, and compared to the Swarovski model , its less half than the price on the austrian counterpart.
