The rear lense on my Simmons scope is loose. The lady at customer serivce said they would repair it frre, but that would take 2 weeks in the middle of late season hunting. Is there any way I can fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The UK importers replaced an Aetec for me a few weeks back, it had developed a really slight vibration in the objective.
Said 'scope would have to be sent to the US for repair, obviously I couldn't wait at least a month, so accepted their offer of a replacement.
A 4-12*40, 30 mm job, not an Aetec but not bad.
Call them back and ask for a loaner? :-)
