I just came across a custom rifle using a Smith Corona 03-A3 Mauser action (made in 1943) chambered in a .300 Win Mag.

I would like to change the bases & rings and was thinking of using Warne. On their rifle charts they don't have Smith-Corona 03-A3 (or Remington 03-A3 or Springfield 1903) listed.

Does anyone know which rifle is a match to those actions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do not believe there is a 03-A3 Mauser. May have better luck by refining your description. Am sure Leupold has rings for you. Just a suggestion.

I like Warne, when they are available. Can you ask the company if they have any? Customer service?

Take a micrometer and measure the spacing on the base mounting holes, and how long the bases can be, call Warne with the intel and they should put you on the right path--or go to a local Warne dealer and try some on it!
