Today I bought an estate full of Leupold 36X benchrest scopes and in the bunch was a scope of which I am unfamiliar. It is a Leupold 16XM1A. Features dull black finish and a 30mm tube. Large exposed w/e turrets and a side focus adjustment. This scope is BNIB with a sunshade and flip up caps. Can anyone tell me the worth of this scope and is there anyone interested in the purchase of it? Regards... Gary

Sounds like a MkIV M1-16. A good standard tactical scope. LOTS OF VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT RANGE - . I have one on a Remington .308 LTR and it's worked fine for several years. NIB price is around $1399 IIRC. Spendy but rugged.
